The first generation of the Nissan President (type number 150) was a luxury Japanese car that first appeared in 1965 and built to 1973
History
The President is a luxury sedan that was once manufactured and sold by Nissan. The Nissan President was built from 1965 to 2010 in several editions’ luxury-class sedan of the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan and was also long time the top model of the group, which was offered only in Asia. Main competitor was the Toyota Century. In 2010, the production of the President was discontinued together with the Cima. Thus, Nissan currently has no upper-class model on offer, the currently most luxurious model is the Nissan Fuga.
The first-generation President was available with a three-litre inline six-cylinder engine (type H30) or with a new, specially designed for the top model four-litre V8 (type Y40) and served the Japanese Prime Minister Eisaku Sato as a company car. 1973, the President 150 was replaced by the Type 250. In addition to the three-litre version, there was still a V8 version; however, their capacity was increased to 4.4 litres (type Y44E). The front suspension is independent. wishbones. coil springs. anti-roll bar and telescopic dampers the rear suspension rigid axle, semi-elliptic leaf- anti-roll bar, telescopic dampers.

It is expected to be used as an official car or an executive company car) mainly by government offices and companies in Japan, and Toyota 's " Century " was a competing model. Although it was a car mainly for the domestic market in Japan, it was exported to a small part of the Southeast Asian region such as Hong Kong and Singapore from the late 1980s.
It was the successor to the Cedric Special (Type 50, introduced in February 1963), and had the largest body and engine of any domestic passenger car at the time. There are two types of engines: the Y40 type 4.0L V8 OHV and the H30 type in-line 3.0L 6-cylinder OHV.
