PK Engineering was a British kit car manufacture originally from Sandbach, Cheshire, England UK from the 1980s.

History

They built kit type cars built on the Reliant Kitten (a four-wheel version of the Robin) in the style of an open utility vehicle, The cars only built from 1981 until 1984 under different names as the Jimi or Jimp by PK Engineering and Kukla Restorations.
The Jimp car a type of utility vehicles similar to the hustler, with an aluminum body a small two-seater with a full width tailgate and a load area combination of rugged styling and small like the Mini-Moke.
The body bolts directly onto an unaltered Reliant Kitten chassis in an idiot-proof manner and should be eminently practical with the tilt-forward one-piece front section allowing easy engine access and retaining spare wheel accessibility even when fully laden. Rear-wheel-drive and unburst able yet economical Reliant 850cc OHV power unit commend the Jimp to both business and private owners in search of a simple, cheap, easy Kit car build.

In its most basic kit form the Jimp costs £2880 plus VAT.This buys an unpainted body constructed of box section steel clad with flat aluminum panels, including the bonnet, tailgate and floor sections. The windscreen frame and glass are also included, plus an assortment of hinges and  fasteners.
