Clark Electric (Brunn Carriage Manufacturing Company)

Brunn Carriage Manufacturing Company was an early American Carriage company. The brand name was Brunn and Clark Electric.

History

Brunn Carriage Manufacturing Company founded by Henry Brunn in Buffalo, New York, from 1882 to build carriages, by 1906 started the production of automobiles. Until 1911, motor vehicles were still produced according to customer orders. For 1910 a vehicle, which was referred to as Clark Electric. In 1932 the company was dissolved. 

The models often custom made  Built as a Limosines Turing, Phaeton Stanhope, Coupe and Brunn Station Wagon. The cars as electric cars. An electric motor from Westinghouse with 3.5 hp powered by a shaft to the rear axle. The battery came from Niagara and had 28 cells. The chassis had 269 cm wheelbase.
