The Morris Major was a larger 4-door sedan and 2 door sports coupe of the Morris Motor Company in 1931 in the UK.

History

Known as the Morris Major 6  the car had a side-mounted 6-cylinder in-line engine at first with a 1938cc engine this was later changed to a smaller 1,803 cc, which accelerated the car up to 91 km / h with a a 4-speed gearbox,and Lockheed hydraulic brakes for stopping. 

In 1933 the Major 6 was already replaced. The successor was from 1934, the Morris 10/6 .In total  4025  of the 1931 model were produced followed by 14,469 for the years 1932 to 1933.
