The FSO Syrena 104 was a Polish automobile model manufactured from 1966 to 1972 by the Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych (FSO).

History

In 1966 the 104 appeared. It had a larger different 2 stroke three-cylinder engine. 70 mm bore and 73 mm stroke resulted in a displacement of 843 cm³ fitted with the Jikov 35 POH/048 horizontal carburettor gave this an output of 40 hp with a max speed of 74.6 mph, 120 km/h and now a distribution of weight of 48% to front axle and 52% at rear axle. The four-speed gearbox with steering column change was fully synchronized. The front indicators were much larger than before. The side moulding was at the height of the door handle and the carrying capacity 706 1b, 320 kg.

The chassis of box-type ladder frame and front suspension as independent with wishbones, transverse leaf spring lower arms, lever dampers at the rear rigid type axle, transverse upper leaf spring, trailing radius arms, lever dampers.
