The Ford Model C was an evolution of Ford Model A Both Models A and C were produced at the same time. The capacity of the two-cylinder engine rose to 1938 cc; the power is given as 10 bhp (7.35 kW). This engine, like the Model A, was mounted under the seats The Model AC can be visually distinguished from the Model A by its larger  radiator the AC. The Model C engine was an opposed twin, witth 8 hp.

At the same time the model C came out with the same engine, in which the tank was located in front of the bulkhead under a dummy hood. The wheelbase 6-in-longer (1.981 mm) in order to be able to integrate this dummy hood (together with the radiator now in front) into an attractive styling. It was made from 1904 to 1905.

The two-seater cost $ 850, but it was also offered a tonneau for $ 100 extra.A two-seat van with box body, which was sometimes also called model E , was also available by this time. The cars replaced later by the Model F.
