Country Volks
Country Volks was a British manufacturer of kit car automobiles .
History
The company from Basingstoke began in 1970 with the production of automobiles. From 1987, Stephen Wilson led the company, while there is no information for the time before. The brand name was initially only Country volks , from 1985 FF and from 1987 also advice , after Wilson took over the production of two models of FF Kit Cars & Conversions . In addition, from 1990 kits were imported from Apal from Belgium and offered. 1993 ended production.
Country Volks: This brand was used between 1970 and 1992. The offer included VW buggies . They resembled - like so many British buggies - GP's buggies . In total, this resulted in about 400 copies.
Rat: These vehicles produced from 1987 to 1993 were also buggies. Striking was an indicated oval air intake in the front.
FF: Between 1985 and 1993 Country volks made the FF Countryman . This was the conversion of a VW Beetle into a pickup truck .
The FF Buggy , produced from 1987 to 1993, was a further development of the Council with an ordinary front and was similar to the Country Volks .

The company Coronet Cars Limited from Denham in Buckinghamshire began in 1957 with the production of small cars .By 1960 ended the production.
The only model offered was a 3 wheel microcar with the single wheel at the back. It was an open two-seater. It had a two-cylinder two - stroke engine from Excelsior with 328 cc displacement used, which made 18 hp .

Brightwheel Replicas Limited was a British manufacturer of replica automobiles in the 1980s .
History
Ken Cook founded the company in 1986 in Christchurch, Dorset. There he began producing automobiles and kits with the support of his son Chris. The brand name was Brightwheel .
The cars came kit based or pre built to order. By 1989 ended production under the name Brightwheel . In total, about 285 copies were made.Cobretti there London agents then copied the car, including a dispute with the brand name Viper arose without Brightwheels permision . Ken Cook founded Classic Replicas in 1989 with Jag based Vipers. and continued with making Cobras until 2001.
Viper
Ken Cook previously was agent for Sheldonhurst in 1985. Then the first model Viper was made from 1986 to 1989. The car was the replica of an AC Cobra. It was quite different from Sheldonhurst car and the chassis was changed in many ways. Originally a Jag XJ6 based chassis. This then later with chassis and suspension from the Ford Granada. Engines were, the six-cylinder V6 Steel Essex engines from Ford, aluminium V8 engines from Rover and a larger heavy V12 engines from Jaguar Cars, lower end cars built with many parts from the Ford Cortina and later from the rear-wheel-drive Ford Sierra. All Viper models together created about 260 copies.
Stinger
In 1988, the CR 6 supplemented the range, which was later renamed Stinger. The base was a tubular spaceframe with a coupe body. It was the replica of the Lamborghini Countach . By 1989, about 6 kits were made also 4 fully built cars of which three went to Japan. Unlike the Viper kit, this was found to be rather complicated for most amateurs and the body moulds later sold to a US company.
Along with the main kits a Moke replica and several Mini body kits, also a Ferrari GTO kit and an Aston Volante kit (both designed by others.).Were also produced.

Avante Cars

History
Melvyn Kay founded the company in 1982 in Stoke-on-Trent , County Staffordshire . He started producing automobiles and kits. The brand name was Avante . 1986 ended production. Top Hat Coachworks from Blackpool , led by Paul de Roma, continued production in 1987. Total created about 30.
The basis of the vehicles was the chassis of the VW Beetle . Then a coupe body was mounted. Usually an air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine of the VW Beetle drove the vehicle, but water-cooled four - cylinder in- line engines from Volkswagenwere also available.
launched in 1982. Its sensational looks are reminiscent of Corvette and the GT40 among others, but are complemented modicum of functional practicality, afforded by a reasonably size passenger compartment and good all-round vision. The car also features conventionally opening doors and wind-up windows, while the standard of finish is flawless due to an acrylic paint job. Attention to detail is also a strong point with some features having very much a mass-production appearance.
Price at time £1550 buys a basic bodyshell kit which includes the main GRP shell with the windscreen, doors, engine and headlamp covers fitted, the
doors being hung on a steel subframe which stiffens the VW chassis. All items required to finish the car, such as wheels and seats, may be
chosen from a wide range of options. The VW floorpan, which can be supplied by the company, does not need to be lowered, but the gearlever and handbrake assemblies should be resited to be within easy reach of the driver, and the rear suspension requires decambering. A further obtains just about everything needed to complete the car to a very respectable standard. Completed cars can be purchased from around ±5500. These contain reconditioned components throughout and are trimmed professionally, the choice of engine being left to the customer.
OPTIONS
Special paint finishes and colour schemes are available as optional extras directly from the manufacturer, as are ancillary trim items, instruments and a wiring loom to complete the basic kit. There are mechanical options such as tuned engines and uprated suspension
The first model was two-seater. From this originated between 1982 and 1987 about 25 copies. In 1983, the +2 added. It was bigger and longer and could accommodate 2 + 2 persons. .

History
The company produced replicas of the Lamborghini Countach . The base was a self-made chassis. Then a two-seater body was mounted. were Selects V6 - and V8 engines.
Jonathan Michael Homewood, who previously for Bright Wheel Replicas worked, founded the company on December 9, 1986 in Three Legged Cross in the county of Dorset . His brother Nick was also employed in the company. Carolyn Jane Homewood was also director. First, they supplied Broadbest with chassis . In 1988, the production of automobiles and kits began . The brand name was ABS . In 1991 the production ended. In total, about five copies were made.
One of the buyers was Alan Milford. He took over the project, founded Prestige Sports Cars in Ringwood and continued production with Nick Homewood between 1994 and 1995.
