Automobilové závody Gordon s.r.o , previously Gordon Cars is a Czech manufacturer of retro automobiles . 

History

Vladimír Friml founded the company Gordon Cars as  in Rokycany in 1997 , took over the vehicle project of the financially troubled company RAF as and started the production of automobiles. The brand name is Gordon .The first Gordon Roadster began production in 1996. The first car was a prototype. This series ended in 2002, and a total of 16 cars were produced during that time In 1998 it was renamed Auto Projekt Centrum sro and relocated to Pilsen .

The model is a roadster in the style of 1930 years without direct model, with a certain resemblance to the Aero 30 .The Gordon Roadster is the only model of Gordon Cars . It's a roadster in the style of the 1930s . The chassis of the vehicle is made of aluminum alloy . The body is made of GRP and steel . With a wheelbase of 270 cm, the vehicle is 407 cm long, 167 cm wide and 123 cm high.

For the drive initially caused a four-cylinder engine of Ford with 1,800 cc displacement and optionally 115 or 130 PS The cars of the first Gordon Roadster series used the more powerfull Ford Zetec-E 1.8 16V, 96 kW (130 HP) 4-cylinder engine.  performance. The Top speed with this engine was stated at 185 km / h. Since 2007's six-cylinder engine from Ford in the second series Gordon Roadster 3.0 V6 cars were equipped with the Ford Duratec-ST 3.0 V6 6-cylinder engine, 166 kW (226 HP). This power unit met the Euro 4 emission standard.
