The SCOUT is the first concept car of the EDAG company from 1999.
History
The EDAG Scout is a pick-up derivative .The basis is a Mercedes-Benz M-Class . 4x4 series sedan, in which the existing design theme was converted into a pick-up derivative. The special feature was the innovative solution of the tailgate, which lowers electrically and integrates flush into the cargo bed. This ensures comfortable loading of the loading area.
Thanks to the use of virtual design tools and rapid prototyping methods, the SCOUT was conceived, designed and translated into a ready-to-drive study within a very short time at EDAG.
