The FSO Syrena 103 was a Polish automobile model manufactured from 1963 to 1966 by the Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych (FSO) in Warsaw.
History
The 103 followed in 1963. Syrena 103 this had a restyled front and a different engine. At the front there was now a radiator grille with 15 vertical and 10 horizontal struts. The engine produced 30 hp.With box-type ladder frame the front suspension as independent, wishbones,transverse leafspring, lever dampers at the rear rigid axle, transverse upper leafspring, trailing radius arms, lever dampers. On the right side, between the rear window and the trunk lid, was the fuel filler neck.The water cooled engine fitted with a Jikov 35 POH horizontal carburettor for the fuel mixture and 12 volt electrics with 37.5 Ah battery and 200 W dynamo. Instead of an ammeter, there is an ammeter on the instrument panel fuel level indicator in the tank. control light. The generator drive is located to the left of the speedometer. In Syrena 103, such a lightweight aesthetic visor was introduced plastic sun visor - cheaper to produce,better in operation (absorbs light rays).
