The Bluebird 610 series was launched in Japan in August 1971 badged as the U series.
History
In the summer of 1971, the PL 510 (with its previous Datsun 1600, Datsun 160, Datsun 180B and Datsun 610 exports in the US) was followed by a more American-style body U series in sedan, coupe and station wagon 1.6- and 1.8-liter four-cylinder engines in a variety of variants was offered.
