History
The car was announced in November 2016 at the Guangzhou Auto Show as concept vehicle Buick Velite Concept . The standard vehicle debuted in April 2017 at the Shanghai Auto Show and was until April 2019 exclusively in China sold. The Velite 5 was from Buick Velite 6 .The Velite 5 is identical to the second-generation Chevrolet Volt sold since 2015 in North America . However, unlike this, was built in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture .
