The Armstrong Siddeley 15 hp is a car built by the British manufacturer Armstrong Siddeley from 1927 to 1934.

History

The first 15 hp was in 1927, the middle model of the manufacturer. This had, unlike its predecessor, a side-mounted six cylinder inline engine with a displacement of 1900 cc (bore × stroke = 63.5 mm × 101.1 mm).

Like all pre-war models by Armstrong Siddeley, the 15 hp also had two rigid axles. As with the 4/14 hp both axles hung on semi-elliptical longitudinal leaf springs. There were touring cars and limousines on two different lengths of chassis.

As early as 1928, the 15 hp Mark II appeared . The car had become slightly larger than its predecessor. The engine had also grown a bit: the stroke was 5 mm larger. Thus, the cubic capacity was 1928 cc.

Again, there were chassis with two different wheelbases. In addition to the touring car and the sedan, a roadster was also offered.

From both models together 7206 copies were built. In 1934, the 17 hp Short / Standard replaced the 15 hp.
