History

Walter E. Flanders and Clement Studebaker Junior founded the company in January 1911 with backing from E.M.F. The seat was initially in Chelsea and later in Pontiac, both in Michigan. First, they made motorcycles .1912 began the production of passenger cars. The idea came from C. Leroy Pelletier.

The car was an electric car had a chassis of 100 inches (2540 mm) wheelbase with spring suspension. It was initially available in two variants at a retail price of $ 1,775 each, the Colonial Coupe and the Victoria. They resembled other electric vehicles of that time, such as the Columbia.

Less than 100 vehicles were created. Economic problems led to bankruptcy in 1913. Pelletier bought the remains of the company and then founded the Tiffany Electric Company.
