The Chevrolet Standard model DC was only built for 1934.

There were few changes in the first full model year of the new series, The name of the lower priced car, Mercury, was changed to the Standard Series for 1934. In the middle of the model year, a four-door Phaeton and a four-door sedan, each with five seats, were added to the three models of the previous year. The Standard used an smaller 107-inch chassis 11 gallon fuel tank and Tire size  5:25 x 17 was also less. This year Chevrolet also had new independent suspension referred to as Knee Action, which was to give a more superior ride and life to tires Chevrolet invested over $4 million developing and manufacturing fully-enclosed Knee-Action wheels so that owners of low-priced cars
may enjoy a greater riding comfort than previous types of front springs could provide.

The vertical air vents had been replaced by three horizontal air vents on each side of the hood  .Instrument panel Indirectly lighted Includes ammeter, oil gauge, speedometer, theft-proof ignition Lock, lighting switch, carburetor choke, Throttle control.

The Standard developed 60 HP at 3000 RPM. 98,959 copies were made by the series DC A total of 13 models were available between the two series of Standard and Master Series Chevrolet total model production run of 620,726 for The 1934 year.
