In 1941, the Master Deluxe Series AG was the entry-level model of the brand. The Chevrolet line for 1941 was completely restyled in its two series: the Master DeLuxe and Special DeLuxe. A mid-year offering was made available called the Fleetline The wheelbase increased by 3 "to 2,946 mm and the headlights were now fully integrated into the front fenders. The running boards had disappeared and replaced by stainless steel trim. Chevrolet also redesigned the valves, rocker arms and water pump The fuel supply was contained in a 16 gallon tank. The tire size was 6:00 x 16. on the 1 16-inch wheelbase.
The grille consisted of horizontal, forward curved chrome bars over almost the entire vehicle width. The body offer (2 Coupés, 2 limousines) corresponded to the previous year.. The 3.55 liter engine now developed 90 hp (66 kW) at 3300 rpm The engine's 90 horsepower was obtained by means of a 6.5:1 compression head, new pistons and reduced combustion chambers 10 MM spark plugs now used in place of 14 MM plugs because it was felt they stood up better under open throttle, asides warmed they up more quickly .Further refinements to the 1941 style were made in 1942: fenders were blended back into the front doors, as in the more expensive cars 1942 changed little on styling and technology, only the chrome bars in the grille were a bit more powerful. The series designation was BG .
Civilian production stopped in February 1942 due to the war, so Chevrolet's model year total was only 258, 795 units,
In these two years, 488,339 Master Deluxe emerged from the last series. After the war, the Stylemaster replaced the Master Deluxe.
