The formal world premiere of the second-generation Equinox took place at NAIAS 2009. In the summer of 2009, the second model generation came on the market. [6] The basic technical platform was maintained, the vehicle in its outer dimensions, but it is slightly smaller. The engines were redesigned from scratch, so the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine in an early press release with a maximum output of 182 hp (136 kW) and the 3.0-liter V6 engine with maximum power 255 hp (190 kW) standard-fit V6 engines with a maximum output of 264 hp (197 kW) achieve almost the same performance.

Chevrolet Equinox specifications 2nd Gen (2009-2017)

For the Equinox of the model year 2010 reported some car tests, for the US rather unusual, significantly higher fuel consumption than previously stated by the manufacturer.  As has also been emphasized by the appropriate testers, the data provided by the manufacturers in this regard is usually very accurate.
