SEM Cars was a British manufacturer of sports cars from the late 1980s to the early 1990s.

History

SEM Cars was  founded in 1988 the company in Poulton-le-Fylde in Lancashire. They started with the production of automobiles and kits.Tony Edwards and Steptoe Terry, previously worked at TVR, The brand name was Sem, they built a small number of coupes and roadsters as the model Saiga. It was similar to the TVR 3000M  

The base of the cars was a spaceframe frame made of steel tubes. Then a fibreglass body was mounted. fitted with a Ford pinto Four-cylinder engines from the Ford Cortina.

By 1992 ended the production. Overall emerged only around four cars.
