ECC (Electric Car Corporation)  vehicles manufacturer U.K , From 2009 to 2012

ECC is a company based in the U.K that sells  Electric Cars. It is offered since 30 April 2009 by Electric Car Corporation .The price new was £ 16,850. The company was later dissolved in 2012. The company is not related to the also British. Devon company. Electrical Engineering Construction Company Ltd (EEC) from the 1950s.

History

With a assembly plant loaseted in Flitwick, Bedfordshire.The Electric Car Corporation C1 ev'ie is an electric car based on the Citroën C1 . The internal combustion engine was replaced by an electric motor . 

The body and chassis of the Electric Car Corporation C1 ev'ie are essentially the same as the standard C1. The standard built-in five-speed gearbox is retained, but it can only be used the third forward gear. The regenerative brake is partially activated when the accelerator pedal is released. So it acts like an engine brake.

The car is charged at a 13amp domestic power outlet .Since the batteries are installed in place of the fuel tank and in addition to the engine compartment, no trunk is lost over the C1. The range is  a range of 60-70 miles (97-120 km) with 6 hours battery charging time.
