DB Smith & Company was an early American manufacturer of automobiles. The brand names were Elite and Saratoga Tourist.

History 

The company was based in Utica, New York. Between 1901 and 1902 it manufactured automobiles. As the brand name Elite these were light steam cars. The steam engine had two cylinders that drove over a chain to the rear axle. The open body could accommodate two people. The vehicles were strikingly decorated, including a front emblem resembling a tiara.
