PSA Peugeot Citroën XUD engine

The PSA XUD are a series of diesel engines used in Peugeot, Citroën ,Fiat and some other cars and light vans.

The XUD engines were introduced in 1982 with the Peugeot 305 . This was a SOHC - or DOHC - line engine with two or four valves per cylinder , with gasoline as fuel . It was tilted transversely by 30 ° only in vehicles with front wheel drive installed.Displacement ranges between 1,769 and 2,138 cc, and all XU diesel engines with a stroke of from 88 mm to 92 mm . The XU series was replaced by more modern EW / DW series motors .

XUD7 

The XUD7 is a diesel engine with 1769 cm 3 capacity with a bore of 80 mm and a stroke of 88 mm. The power ranged from 60 to 90 hp (44-66 kW).

XUD11

The XUD11 is available either with a displacement of 2068 cm 3 with a bore of 85 mm or with 2138 cm 3 with a bore of 86 mm. The stroke is 92 mm for both versions.
