Renault 40CV is the early trade name of a car brand Renault produced from 1908 to 1928 .This was a range of luxury cars, it is the official car of the presidents of the French Republic from 1920 to 1928.During his career, the car has experienced several developments with improvments to the large engines fitted and brake systems to match the power, over the years the cars corresponding to different types:

1900s: Type AR (1908-1909), named 50CV ,Type BH (1909-1910), named 50 / 60CV

1910s: Type CG (1911-1913),Type DT (1913-1914),Type ES (1914-1916),Type ET (1914-1917),Type FI (1916-1918)

1920s:Type GX (1920),HD type (1919-1920),Type HF (1920-1921),Type HU (1921),IR type (1921-1923),Type JD (1922-1923),Type JP (1921-1922),Type JV (1922-1923),Type KO (1923),Type MC (1923-1926),Type NM (1925-1928)
