History

All five Farina cars were updated and facelifted in 1961 with a new 1.6 L (1622 cc) version of the B-Series engine, longer wheelbase and a new revised look with lower line appearance with the radiator grille redesigned. The tail fins had been trimmed and there were still detail changes between the marques. A option for  heavy-duty rear suspension was avaliable. The gearbox came as 4 + reverse mechanical with various ratios plus a Borg-Warner automatic gearbox option.De Luxe specification includes: Heater, screen-warhers, duotone, electric clock, boot light, etc.

Soon after launch by October. 1962 a heater became standard with the divided bench seat was now standard with one-piece a optional extra. Improved rear suspension on Saloon also rear suspension onTraveller. The  Screenwashers standard equipment on the Basic Saloon and Courtesy light in boot.

Later by October 1964. Safety features now incluse a modified steering mounting and include plastic framed mirror with crushable visor. Along with greaseless prop shaft.
