The Peugeot Type 172 is a more sportier type 1920s car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot ,built from 1923 to 1929.

History

The Peugeot Type 177 is a car of which 34,241 copies were produced from 1923 to 1929 in the works Audincourt , Beaulieu and Sochaux .

In 1925 , Peugeot entered this car in motor racing where it won many races, including a double in the Coupe des Alpes of 2989 km, before being marketed in 1926 . The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged in front and driven by Kardan the rear wheels.
