The Peugeot Type 172 is a light small car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , from 1922 to 1929.

History

Built at the works Beaulieu and Sochaux with in total 57,932 copies were produced as Cabriolet,Landaulet, torpedo, and small delivery van, . The model, which was at least from 1922 to 1924 also called Quadrilette , was the successor of the Peugeot Type 161 .The vehicles had a small four-cylinder four - stroke engine from 667 to 950 cc, which was arranged in front and driven by the rear wheels.
