The Ford Figo 2nd generation was built in India since 2015.
History
The successor model was introduced in India in 2015 and also provides the same basis for the European Ka + . The second generation of Figo is built in Sanand .The second generation Figo is now available in three engine options. It will also be marketed in other emerging markets. In contrast to the Ka +, the Figo is also available in a notchback version.
While being sold in South Africa as the Ford Figo Sedan , it is marketed in India as the Ford Aspire . At 3995 mm, the Aspire is around 259 mm shorter than the Figo Sedan, since in India vehicles up to four meters in length are taxed less. It is equipped with an independent MacPherson strut with coil spring and anti-roll bar up front with semi independent twist beam with twin gas and oil filled shock absorbers at the rear. 5-speed manual geabox on base models and a 6-speed Dual-clutch transmission on top models.
