History

The Dodge DL Series  featured a side-mounted 3569 cc six-cylinder in-line engine with a stroke that was 1/8 "longer than its predecessor, delivering 79bhp (58kW) 3,400 / min. The semi-automatic was also available on request, with a vacuum-activated clutch was automatically activated when changing gears. The wheelbase of the chassis grew to 2,908 mm.

As body types there were a 4-door sedan, three 2-door coupes with 2 or 4 seats and two 2-door convertibles (coupe and limousine-based) were also offered as well as a chassis with all mechanical components for customers who wanted to hire a body shop themselves for custom design.

In November 1932, the DP series replaced the DL after just one year.
