Manor View Motors was the first manufacturer of automobiles from the island of Guernsey in the 1950s .The brand name was MVM .

History 

Leslie Le Tessier founded the company in Castel in 1956 and began producing automobiles.The model was a small open sports car,  with the prototype built in 1956 the model which was intended to be built specifically for export to the United Kingdom from Guernsey.

 The M.V.M., designed and built by Leslie Le Tissier, of Manor View Motors, Castel,It is a plastic- bodied two/three-seater powered by a 325 c.c. Anzani two-stroke engine.The first two copies had a two-cylinder two-stroke in-line engine of the British Anzani engine company with the 325 cc displacement and 18 hp power, which was installed in the rear. The third vehicle had a four-cylinder engine from Coventry Climax with 1100 cc of displacement. The chassis base of ladder-type, tubular with an open two-seat plastic body fixed on it along with this it was suspended independently on all four wheels by wishbones and Girling combined spring and damper units, of adjustable firmness with the 13" wheels the tubeless 5.20-13 tyres are fitted. Steering is by rack and pinion, with two-leading-shoe Girling brakes with the engine and fuel tank mounted at the rear. Open half-shafts drive the rear wheels.

In total, three vehicles were created.The basic price new was between £350 and £375 depending on specification. However, this car could not really prevail on the market and In the same year the production ended.
