History
The company was founded in November 1919 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They began in 1919 with the production of automobiles. By November 1920, the first five vehicles were created. Then MacDuncan founded the MacDonald Steam Automotive Corporation in Garfield. Production at gearless ran to a small extent to 1923.
The cars on offer were exclusively steam cars. There are five-seater touring cars and three-seater roadsters. Wooden wheels and wire spoke wheels were available. The chassis had 320 cm wheelbase.
There are many unusual features about this car, and its performance is good at all speeds up to its maximum of 70 miles per hour.

The burner is of the vaporizing type, but with a new form of gasifier easily cleaned out when required (about every 5,000 miles) and furnished with steam and air cleaning connections. The burner proper is of pressed metal with cast iron upper surfaces. It is divided into three sections, or burner boxes, each served by a separate injection nozzle fitted with screens and non- blocking tips using two steam engines, each one
operating one rear wheel, a new steam car does away with the necessity for a differential in the rear axle. Built on a wheelbase of 117 inches, the Gearless is of the kerosene-burning type, requiring lighting of the burner by means of a match. The burner takes four minutes to bring the generator to working pressure.
There was no connection to the Gearless Motor Car Company, which used the same brand name a few years earlier.

Walter E. Flanders and Clement Studebaker Junior founded the company in January 1911 with backing from E.M.F. The seat was initially in Chelsea and later in Pontiac, both in Michigan. First, they made motorcycles .1912 began the production of passenger cars. The idea came from C. Leroy Pelletier.

History
Four Wheel Drive Wagon Company was founded in 1903 by Theodore Hanson, Charles B. Perry, and Lyman G. Wheeler. They bought the patents of the Cotta Automobile Company in November 1903. 1904 began the production of automobiles. At the beginning of 1906, an extension of the work was announced.
