The GP Centron was a kit car available in Britain a Coupé built on a Beetle chassis in the 1970s.
History
Designed by Pierre du Plessis and Val Dare-Bryan, who previously worked for Unipower. State style took over the moulds in 1983, but did not bring about any further to production the first series Centron was built from 1970-1971.The second Mk II Centron built from 1974 to 1975 Further development of the GP Centron. GV Plastics C Products (1983–1985) from St Colombo Major and Alternative Autos (1985–1986) from Three milestone as Lalande and MDB Sportscars (1986–1988) from Tredegar as MDB Sapphire tried unsuccessfully to continue production.
The kit Consists of nine sections which have been made in Glass-fibre for £600. These complete the rear and side-windows already fitted

The Centron is easier to build than the buggy and should Take two people approx. three days to complete.
