Cape Advanced Vehicles is a South African manufacturer of automobiles . The brand name is CAV .

History

The company was founded in 1999 in Cape Town . 2000 began the production of automobiles. At first there was a cooperation with GTD from England and since 2005 with Auto Futura from Cape Town. For 2000 and 2001 respectively 16 vehicles were built, for 2002 26 and for 2003 15. 

The offer includes replicas of the Ford GT 40 . With a full Stainless Steel TIG welded monocoque chassis and various V8 engines of Ford with optional 4700 cc displacement , 5000 cc or 5800 cc and up to 400 hp power the vehicles. Inside upholsterd with custom-designed panels and seats in European-spec leather.
