History

Hassler Motor Company was founded in 1917 the company located in Indianapolis in Indiana. They made automobiles after his name Hassler. The first vehicles were presented at the auto show in Chicago. In the same year the production ended. Robert H. Hassler was one of the founders of the Marion Motor Car Company in 1904. Later, he produced with his Robert H. Hassler Inc. shock absorbers, transmissions and other components for vehicles.

The cars on offer were an open roadster, this had a four-cylinder engine of the Buda Engine Co. 95.25 mm bore and 130.175 mm stroke with a 3710 cc of displacement with Grant Lees transmission cars came fitted with Timkin and Hyatt bearings Cord 33"x4" tires also came with Bendix and Auto Lite starting ignition and lighting.The chassis had 284 cm wheelbase.
