Cia. do buggy was a Brazilian manufacturer of kit type automobiles.

History 

The company from the state of Ceará began in 2003 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Cauype .The model was a VW buggy . It was similar to Caribe . 

A tubular frame formed the base it has a Saftey Cell A system of Tubular Chassis, bodywork, side protection bars and also integrated Reinforced 40 liters fuel tank protection system Width 167m between the front wheels 1.36W between rear wheels .420mm. Then an open body was made of fiberglass mounted.

One version had an air-cooled four-cylinder - Boxer engine with 1,600 cc engine capacity of Volkswagen do Brasil .There were also models with water-cooled VW engines cc 1000, 1600 cc, 1800 cc and 2000 cc. 

Initially, the vehicles had angular headlights.Modeling led in 2006 to round headlights and three round taillights. By 2007 ended the production.
