The Citroën Nemo is a high-roof combination of the company Citroën as a car ( Citroën Nemo station wagon ) and vans ( Citroën Nemo ).
History
The Citroën Nemo was built at Tofaş in Bursa (Turkey), where the identical sister models Peugeot Bipper and Fiat Fiorino III were produced. In addition to the two-seat van for commercial use with a double unglazed rear door, the Nemo was also offered as a five-seat estate with tailgate and two side sliding doors. The Nemo became the Van of the Year 2009 along with its sister models. In 2015, production as well as the Bipper were discontinued. Fiat leads his sister model as Fiat Qube and in the commercial vehicle variant as Fiat Fiorino on.
The van with a payload of 610 kg and 2.5 m³ cargo space is designed primarily for commercial use in the city, with the front passenger seat can be folded to increase the cargo volume. There are many storage compartments. Steering column and driver's seat are adjustable in height; the steering column also in reach. Side sliding doors, additional glazing of rear door and side, passenger airbag, air conditioning, electrical package (electric windows, central locking, exterior mirrors with electrical operation and heating) and a CD radio with Bluetooth hands-free system are available at an additional cost. Particularly noteworthy is the (optional) fully retractable passenger seat Extenso, which extends the cargo space to 2.55 meters. The trailer load (unbraked / braked) is 400/600 kg. The bad-road package "Pack Chantier" (only for van without sliding doors) includes, among other things, a reinforced suspension with increased ground clearance, 15-inch wheels, a motor mudguard and widened side ramming protection strips.
The five-seat estate wagon with a maximum payload of 435 kg has opening windows in the side sliding doors. Front electric windows, exterior mirrors with electric and heating controls, central locking with radio remote control and on-board computers are standard. Some optional extras are only available in equipment packages: A manually controlled air conditioning system is only available together with a CD radio in the Audio-Klima package . The cargo package includes fog lights, a luggage separation net, a rear parking aid and the roof rails. Only the color polar white is available at no extra charge.
The model of the Fiat Fiorino, which is identical to the Nemo station wagon, is called Qubo . Equally identical to the two is the Peugeot Peugeot Bipper , since September 2009 as a five-seater with the nickname Tepee .
The Nemo box van features anti-lock brakes , ventilated front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, belt tensioners and a driver airbag as standard; in the Nemo station wagon also a passenger and side airbags, which were also available for the van at an additional cost. Head airbags were not offered. In a moose test by the ADAC in late April 2010, the Nemo tipped. Therefore, in the same year , PSA equipped all vehicles as standard with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) , which includes traction control and engine drag torque controlcontained in action in case of problems with traction or lane.
At launch, the Nemo was powered by a 1.4-liter diesel engine with 50 kW (68 hp), or a gasoline engine with 1.4 liters and 54 kW (73 hp). It reaches a top speed of about 150 km / h. The fuel consumption per 100 km is according to the manufacturer 4.5 liters of diesel or 6.8 liters of premium gasoline. The diesel engine is not equipped with a soot particle filter as standard. The engines emit 119 g / km (diesel engine) and 164 g / km (gasoline engine) CO 2 . Both engines receive the green particulate sticker .
As of September 2010, there was only a 1.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which mobilized 55 kW (75 hp) at 4000 min -1from 1248 cc displacement . This engine has a torque of 190 Nm at 1750 min -1 . The top speed is 155 km / h. In conjunction with a 5-speed manual transmission , the Nemo consumes 4.3 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km with a CO 2emissions of 113 g / km. Since 2011, the Nemo is also available with start-stop system and cruise control .
