The second generation Chevrolet Cobalt is built by General Motors Brazil since 2011 on the Gamma II platform .
History
The production car was a concept car at the Buenos Aires International Motor Show was introduced 2011 A wagon version is offered as a Chevrolet Spin . Although the model has a similar front design, such as the Chevrolet Agile and the second generation of the Chevrolet Montana , the models are technically only remotely related.
The car is front-wheel drive equipped with a 1.4 Econo.Flex engine and a single 1.8-liter 8-valve engine a 5-speed manual transmission or optional 6-speed automatic transmission .The fuel tank capacity is 47L.
In 2016, the model received a facelift , which gave it a more independent look. Brazil, production ended in late 2019, In Russia, since 2016, the Ravon R4 has produced a vehicle based on the revised Cobalt version.
