The Critchley-Norris Motor Co. ltd. was a British commercial vehicle and automaker in Preston in Lancashire . From 1906 to 1908 a passenger car model was manufactured there.

The Critchley-Norris 40 hp was a large, open touring car on a truck chassis. It was powered by a four-cylinder in-line engine with 7.05 l displacement.

After three years, the production was abandoned after only a few copies and they continued with the construction of commercial vehicles and busses.
