Kelvin , previously Bergius Car & Engine Company , Bergius Launch and Engine Company and Kelvin-Bergius Co. Ltd. A British manufacturer of engines that used to manufacture automobiles as well for a short time. 

History

Walter Bergius founded the Bergius Car & Engine Company in Glasgow in 1904 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Kelvin .One was exhibited at the Motor Show in Edinburgh early in 1906 but still in 1906 ended the car production. In total, 14 vehicles were created. 1907 began the production of marine engines that had been in use in the cars. In 1908 the name was changed to Bergius Launch and Engine Company , 1961 Bergius-Kelvin Co. Ltd. and later as Kelvin Diesels .

The cars on offer ,designated as 14 HP . A four-cylinder engine with 3052 cc displacement was mounted in the front of the vehicle 3-speed gear box with constant-mesh gears and powered by a cardan shaft to the rear axle. The cars were upholstered and painted by a coach builder. The choice was solid tires and pneumatic tires.
