The Honda S660 is a two-seat roadster of the Japanese car manufacturer Honda.

History

The Honda S660 which is sold only in the Japanese home market. Due to the displacement of 658 cc, the length of less than 3.40 meters, the width of less than 1.48 meters and the power of 47 kW (64 hp) of the S660 is one of the Kei cars , which in Japan the vehicle tax and the parking space certificate is omitted.

A first look at the car showed Honda at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 2013 with the concept vehicle S660 Concept . The sale of the production version launched in Japan in April 2015, a limited edition of 660 vehicles special model.  is being built, the Roadster in Yokkaichi , outside Japan it is not available.The last roadster in the kei-car format Honda built between 1991 and 1996 with the beat .

The Honda S660 is equipped with a 658 cc three-cylinder gasoline engine, which makes a turbocharger 47 kW (64 hp). The engine is located in front of the rear axle, its power is transmitted to the rear axle. With the mid-engine and rear-wheel drive , the S660 has two important handling features that can be found even on high-powered sports cars . As standard, the two-seater has a 6-speed manual transmission , optionally a continuously variable CVT transmission is available. The top speed is electronically limited to 134 km / h. 

 Honda officially announced that it will end the production of the S660 in March 2022.
