The Ford Evos is a concept vehicle of the car manufacturer Ford, which was presented at the International Motor Show 2011, it provided an outlook on the future Ford design with wing doors. This was developed in Orbassano with some details can be seen in the later production Ford Mondeo .

History

This vehicle is a four-door, four-seater coupe, designed by J Mays as a further development of the "Kinetic Design". The vehicle has - as previously the study Ford Iosis - on opposing hinged wing doors and no B-pillar. The plug-in hybrid is powered by either a gasoline or an electric motor, the energy is stored in a lithium-ion accumulator developed by Ford. The drive is not a study, it was taken from the 2013 going into series Ford C-MAX Energy. The gasoline engine is only used when the maximum speed of 75 km / h for electric operation is exceeded or the stored current for the electric motor is running out. The total range of the drive concept is over 800 kilometres.

The full-LED headlights, which will be available in the future even in the Ford-production vehicles, are kept very shallow, and act by slot-shaped, the grille. Widely flared wheel arches give the car a very sporty impression. At the rear of the car, a continuous tail light band is to be found, including a centrally located, also trapezoidal exhaust and a large, silver-coloured diffuser.

In the interior four bucket seats are to be found, the fittings are completely digital. At higher speeds, less important information is automatically hidden to reduce the risk of distraction.  The playlist of the audio system, as well as settings for climate control, seat position and even the required votes of steering, suspension and gearbox are on a cloud set -Access automatically to the driver.  The electronics determined on the seats while driving the pulse rate of the driver and the car adjusts his physical condition, special filter systems protect the occupants beyond before impure air.
