The Fiat 24-32 HP is a early Italian luxury car built by Fiat from 1901 to 1905 .

The model was designed with a bare frame, customers took the car to trusted coachbuilders to complete the car. It was supplied with three different steps , more precisely short, medium and elongated versions. A competition version was also prepared, the "24 HP 1902 Corsa".

The transmission was a gearbox manual four-speed  .The 24-32 HP was characterized by important innovations technological : it was the first sedan to be bodied Landaulet , the first to have the pedal of  accelerator and a four-speed forward gears plus reverse with rear drive. A top speed of 75 km / h  .The engine of  twin-block type , ie two heads by two cylinders All the engines were four-cylinder in-line . It was built in three different versions, more precisely:First series: 6371 cm³ of displacement ( Bore x stroke of 130 x 120) delivering a power of 32 hp .Second series (from 1904): 6902 cm³ (130 x 130mm) (32 hp) .Third series: (from 1905): 7363 cm³ (125 x 150 mm) (32 hp)

In 1902 a competition version was introduced, the "24 HP 1902 Corsa". It was the first car in history to really be a racing car. It did not derive from any standard car. The "Corsa" had the frame entirely in steel , unlike the models of the time, where wood was generally used . He rode a twin-block from 7238 cc of displacement disbursing a power of 40 hp . It weighed 450 kg and reached a speedof 100 km / h, a considerable speed for the time. Its performance led the model to dominate many races. The car won, among other things, the Sassi-Superga, near Turin , on June 29th 1902 and on July 27th of the same year the Susa-Moncenisio with Vincenzo Lancia at the wheel . This last competition was run at the remarkable average speed of 44.16 km / h.
