The Perana Performance Group was a South African car manufacturer from the 2000s. The brand name was Perana.

History

The company was founded in 2007 in Port Elizabeth. In March 2012, it was announced that the vehicle will be marketed under the brand AC as AC 378. The prototype Z-one was presented in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show. Zagato had designed the design of the super sports car. The 2-door sports coupe offered space for two people. 

Fitted with a V8 engine with 6200 cc displacement and 323 kW and redlines at 6,600rpm six-speed manual gearbox a ZF limited-slip diff drive to the rear wheels. The vehicle with Weight balance of 50/50 and 2540 mm wheelbase was 4406 mm long, 1924 mm wide and 1233 mm high width Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks and 18" front and 19" rear wheels. The curb weight was given as 1465 kg. Mass production of the Perana Z-One was to take place at Hi-Tech Automotive. The price in Europe should be just under £ 50,000 (excluding taxes).
