The Phoenix Motor Works was a British automaker in Southport (Lancashire) . With cars built from 1902 to 1904.

History

Elijah Hudlass and his son Felix  built a early car by 1895 and by 1900, the works had built the Hudlass  as the Hudlass Motor Works. Then the same car appeared as Phoenix and was manufactured until 1902.

The company was then sold to the Phoenix Motor Co also in Southport in 1902.

1904 appeared a three-cylinder model  .Still unsuccessful the company closed its automaker doors in 1906 to make petrol and paraffin engines.
