History

The company Hi-Wise Limited started in Northamptonshire around 2002. Grant Lockheed and Matt Wright became directors. Later in 2002, they moved to Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire and by October, 2002, the name change to Luego Sports Cars Limited. In 2003, the company moved again to Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. By early 2007, the original company was closed. Later in 2007 now in Scotland, the name changes to Luego Sports Cars Limited

The model was the Locost, which was taken over by Ron Champion in 2002. Luego was the only company that could continue to still call the model the Locost, while many other companies produced vehicles of the same type. The model was similar to the Lotus Seven and was an open two-seater. Between 1998 and 2005, Ron Champion and Luego Sports Cars together produced about 150 vehicles.

The Velocity XT was designed similarly. This found between 2002 and 2010 around 75 buyers. The model Viento V8 sold around 70 copies. A vehicle slightly larger in size than the Lotus Seven, this had a space frame frame and a rover V8 engine.

By 2010 ended automobile production but still repair classic cars.
