This Westfield ZEi was a open sports car built by Westfield Sportscars in the 1990s,as the W 130 Zetec Also ZEi 220 version was also avalable with the legedary cosworth 2 litre turbo engine 

History

Westfield Sportscars Ltd. is a British sports car and kit car manufacturer .Sports cars have been developed and sold by the company since 1983
The Westfield marque has gained an enviable reputation for superb handling cars.particularly based on the design of the Lotus 7 .

The Westfield ZEi is a low volume facory built car with its roots firmly in the days of the great British sports car tradition.In a world dominated by hot hatches and their convertible derivatives the ZEi brings a breath of fresh air to open air motoring.

The unique all - independent suspension set up of the ZEi is fully adjustable, and allied to the complex multi tube spaceframe chassis .
and is both safe and yet possessed with remarkable traction through bends that would have other so called sportscars struggling for adhesion. Braking is taken care of by four wheel disc brakes all round.

Westfield had chosen the new 16 valve, 130 ps, DOHC 1.8 litre power unit Ford Zeta engine.The engine is Ford 1800 Zeta Zetec engine 1796cc with 130 hp at 6,250rpm, 120 lb ft at 4,250 rpm and zero to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds.Environmentally friendly, the engine features fuel injection and catalytic converter and, of course, runs on unleaded fuel.

This engine driving through the MT75 five speed gearbox and is RWD,with LSD and 14” wheels and 185/60/14 tyres with 6 X 14 Rimstar alloy wheels adjustable Spax shock absorbers. The car has power and flexibility throughout its range and delivers the performance, reliability and durability for which Ford have an unrivalled reputation. Brakes are discs all round – 250mm front, and 240mm rear

Each Westfield ZEi is hand built at the factory and is backed which ensures that each car leaving the factory is built to the highest possible standards.being manufactured from composite materials and the chassis is epoxy coated for corrosion resistance.

On the inside, the ZEi features adjustable seats, a complete range of analog instruments as well as luggage space provided by the boot box.
The basic specification includes all the right ingredients that you would expect to find in a car with the sporting pedigree of a Westfield;
Inertia reel seatbelts, electric cooling fan, chrome halogen headlights and of course a leather covered steering wheel with crash pad, two speed wipers, wing mirrors etc.

The ZEi comes in a choice of seven colours with a choice of interiors in either vinyl as standard or leather as an option.
