Westfield SEiGHT
Chris Smith started Westfield in the UK in 1982, building a one-off Lotus XI replica for a US customer which later went into production as the Westfield XI. Though a Lotus Seven replica followed in 1984, a lawsuit filed by Caterham Cars, which had the rights to the Lotus Seven, forced him to re-style his cars, and by 1988 he'd created the SE and SEi.

In 1991 his models had developed further and the ultimate SE variant was born: the SEiGHT. The chassis for this car was made in square section steel tubing which was heavily triangulated, and it ran high up inside the bodywork as there was no requirement for doors. The V8 was an all-aluminium
Rover, stroked to 238ci (3,900cc) and at first featuring twin SU carbs, though later versions had fuel injection and either 198bhp (148kW) or 273bhp (203kW).Double wishbones suspension front and rear and quick steering made it a driver's machine. The Rover V8 engine powerplant of the SEiGHT ranges from 3.5 litre units originally sourced from the Rover SD1 to bored and stroked 5.2 litre units. There are also 3.9 fuel injected versions, TVR Power engines of 4.2 litres.Westfield ended production of the SEiGHT in December 2010.
