The Wolseley 24 HP was the first freely available car with four-cylinder engine, which was offered by Wolseley Siddeley in 1902.
This had a four-cylinder block engine with 5187 cc displacement and side valves . There were chassis with all components mounted low with 2286 mm or 2591 mm wheelbase.Meant various body types coud be fitted. The body depending on model were 3658 mm long and 1600 mm wide. The empty weight was 1168-1320 kg with a top speed of 45 mph fitted with a 4 speed gearbox.
In 1911 Wolseley replaced this with the 30/34 .
