The Wolseley 10 was the first two-cylinder passenger car that Wolseley launched in 1901 it was replaced with the Wolseley 12 in 1905.
This had a two-cylinder block engine with 2,593 cc displacement and side valves , which at 750 / min. a power rating of 10 bhp (7.4 kW) . The chassis had a wheelbase of 1828 mm. The chassis were 2743 mm long and 1626 mm wide. The car weight was 965 kg.
Wolseley 12
In model year 1905, the Wolseley 12 replaced this model. The displacement was slightly lower with 2492 cc, the power increased to 12 bhp (8.8 kW) at 900 / min. The wheelbase amounted to 2591 mm, the car weight to 914 kg. In the following year engines with the capacity of the model 10 were installed again, but also gave 12 bhp, but already at 800 / min. In addition to the long chassis, there was also a shorter with 2159 mm wheelbase.
Up Until the model year 1910, the two-cylinder models were discontinued from the Wolseley model range.
