The NSU-Pipe 15/24 hp was a car , which built the Neckarsulmer Fahrradwerke Aktiengesellschaftin the years 1906 to 1910 under license of the Belgian car manufacturer Pipe . The 15/24 hp was the successor of the model 34 hp .
The water-cooled engine was a four-cylinder block engine with a displacement of 3768 cc (bore × stroke = 100 × 120 mm), which made 24 hp (17.6 kW). The engine had double ignition ( magnet and battery ), automatic central lubrication and hanging valves . The motor power was a leather cone clutch, a four-speed transmission with the right mounted setting circuit and a chain transfer to the rear wheels. The wheelbase of the cars was 3000-3200 mm, their gauge 1450 mm and the weight of the double phase 1650 kg. The top speed was about 70 km / h.
The cars were made as Doppelphaeton , Roi-des-Belges , Landaulet or sedan . In 1910 their production was discontinued in favor of smaller cars of their own design without successors.
