Motorcar Classics Inc.
The company was founded on February 16, 1977 in Novato , California . Thomas F. Piper Jr. and William Piper were the founders. 1979 began the production of automobiles. The brand name was PiperMotorcar Classics . 1985 the production ended.
The Lance resembled a 1929 Mercedes-Benz SS . It is said to have been a copy of the Gazelle of Classic Motor Carriages . One version had the chassis of the VW Beetle . In addition, there was also a separate chassis available, the four-cylinder engines of the Ford Pinto and Ford Mustang II
The Seneca was modeled after the MG TD . This also had engines from the Pinto and Mustang, including V8 engines .
There was also a replica of a Bugatti in the range.
