Mackle-Thompson Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles onlt in 1903 .
History
Frederick Mackle and Andrew C. Thompson were mechanics. Thompson had already gained experience in the automotive industry with Thompson . They founded the company in Elizabeth in 1903 in New Jersey . In the same started the production of automobiles. The brand name was Mackle-Thompson . They also sold vehicles from Oldsmobile and operated a repair shop. Still in 1903 ended the own vehicle production.
The vehicles had a single-cylinder engine with air cooling .In the model B , he made 3.5 PS and Model C 5 PS. He drove a two-speed gearbox and a propeller shaft to the rear axle. The body was an open runabout.
